Internship as a designer at SoundCloud

My friend David from the guys of SoundCloud just ask me if I know any good designer, who could be interested in an internship, so maybe some of you are happy to hear:

Are you a design student (or fresh graduate) who wants to get some hands-on experience? Within our small but highly motivated team you get the chance to work with us on upcoming features, own music-related projects and day to day business. The only coffee making involved is if you need a cup your self.

The ideal candidate
• Design student/graduate
• You know your tools (You don’t need to be a photoshop wizard & clear mind and great thinking preferred)
• You are able to build small websites on your own (i.e. you know your html, CSS, etc.)
• You have a passion for detail, but you can be pragmatic too
• To you, the overall idea is more important than the individual pixel.
• You are curious & interested in general
• You have an opinion and you’re not afraid to discuss your doubts and ideas
• You’re self-confident enough to know and admit that your idea may not always be the right one
• You have no problems working with or without ToDo lists given to you

Your role
• You’ll work closely with our designer on all phases of new & updated features & pages of SoundCloud.com
• You’ll be in close contact, exchange ideas and communicate with the whole SoundCloud team
• There’s possibility to spend time on your own, SoundCloud related, projects too

• Full time
• Minimum of 3 months, ideally 6 months
